Major General Shepperd has been involved with information technology, strategic planning, leadership development and trust building at the highest levels of government and industry for many years. A graduate of the Air Force Academy class of 1962, he has had an exciting career, having flown 247 fighter combat missions in Vietnam and attending courses and seminars for senior leaders at Harvard and MIT.  Major General Shepperd retired in 1998 from the Pentagon, where he served as head of the Air National Guard. During his service, he received the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross and many other military honors, and was seen regularly on TV as a military analyst for CNN, covering the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Currently, he travels widely in the Mideast, is a speaker and writer on the subject of terrorism and provides military commentary for ABC radio in Phoenix, New York and Baltimore.
