Social Scientist Analyst Job Opportunities - US Citizenship and Immigration Services
US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) seeks qualified candidates to apply for our open Social Science Analyst positions. As a Social Science Analyst assigned to USCIS headquarters in Washington, DC (Office of Policy and Strategy, Research and Evaluation Division) you would apply your knowledge and skills to answer research and evaluation questions of considerable scope and complexity. Our analysts:
- Provide research and evaluation that will enable sound immigration policy making
- Improve core USCIS functions and programs through program evaluation and targeted research
- Provide expertise in social science, demographic, and policy research and evaluation
These positions having a starting a salary of $89,033 (GS-13 step 1), with promotion potential to $136,771 (GS-14 step 10). Successful applicants will join a growing, collegial team of research, evaluation, and policy professionals from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds.
